Happy New Year! 

Doesn’t that sound odd already? Considering it’s now February.  Where did January go I continue to ask myself.

I hope you had a relaxing Christmas and New Year because I certainly did.  As I am moving house, I spent time with family in Mt Macedon and Torquay and learnt how to sew (yep, who would have thought that between bushwalking with the poochies and swimming I would bust out mums 20 year old Janome – thank you YouTube for the lessons).

My first creation was a bunny which was a present for my niece, the second; a brightly coloured skirt made out of cushion fabric.  I will wear it at a show this year – hopefully the stitching holds…

YouTube Series

Late last year I was fortunate enough to record a bunch of songs from my wee little studio (some songs featuring other Melbourne artists) and they will start to creep up onto my YouTube channel over the coming weeks.  The first one which was uploaded today is an acoustic version of ‘Seven Days’, the title track from my current EP.  I’ll be posting loads more things on YouTube this year (have to keep up with the tech kids you know) so if you’d like to subscribe to my channel that would be ace.

St Kilda Festival

Next Wednesday 6th February, I’ll be doing two things; performing a St Kilda Festival ‘Live & Local’ show at the Prince of Wales, and moving into my new house (the same night!).  Would love to see you at the Prince (for show details click here) but if you can’t make it I completely understand – you’ve probably already signed up to lift some boxes at my new place yeah?
